“And Behold the Babe Wept”~ Exodus 2:6

“And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, this is one of the Hebrews children.”

What a concept . . . “and behold the babe wept.”

And when we pay attention to the concepts of the Bible, we will learn more of the mind of God. It’s amazing what the cries of a baby would accomplish, “the babe wept and Pharaoh’s daughter had compassion on the babe.” The babe wept” and Pharaoh’s daughter realized she’s looking at a Hebrew baby. “The babe wept”, and Pharaoh’s daughter realized this baby needs a Hebrew mother. “The babe wept”, and Pharaoh’s daughter turned him over to his own mother. “The babe wept”, and Moses spent his early years being raised as a Hebrew. “The babe wept”, and a Hebrew baby becomes the prince of Egypt.

What a concept: from the cries of the baby comes the deliver of a people.

As stated by Warren Wiersbe and I quote . . .

“God used a baby’s tears to control the heart of a powerful princess, and He used Miriam’s words to arrange for the baby’s mother to raise the boy and get paid for it!”

And it all started when “the babe wept.”
